We want to be blessed with a mate, yet we hold on to past memories and desires. How can God send me my Mr. Right, if I am constantly still wanting the man who hurt me?
I can admit, that I don’t know the answer to that question. All I know is that I had to free myself from the desire from a mate, and learn how to love myself and others freely. Sometimes, our own reservations, and thoughts imprison our joy and hope. We don’t get what we want, when we want it and refuse to set our heart free. We keep it trapped behind the cage and the walls we built around it.
Love doesn’t hurt, people do. God will send people in your life to love for different reasons. Sometimes because we are so focused on finding our mate, that we become so afraid of even showing love on any level. We make ourselves cold and closed off. It often takes so much just to show how we really feel and then we wonder why we can not find true love.
You cannot find what you don’t believe in. If you want to find love, you must learn how to love. You must learn that because we have a twisted definition of love intermingled with sex, that our perceptions on how to show love have become distorted. Maybe if we redefined what society have defined for us, and see the pure truth through spiritual eyes, that we can start to make better decisions. To love others as we love ourselves.
Its okay to build a friendship with pure love. Its okay to do things for others just because. Its okay to trust those worth trusting and share your joy and pain. Its okay. That is what we were made to do. Guard your heart, but don’t block the flow. Love attracts love. If you love with wisdom and righteousness, you will see blessings. If you harden your heart because of fear, you will only attract more pain and cause pain. Free your heart, Free your mind, Be Happy….
